FLUSH v.6.1
(C) Copyright 1985,6,7,8,9,90,91,92
by Paul E. Turton
FLUSH v.6.1 removes Terminate & Stay Resident programs, frees the memory
allocated to them and displays any FLUSH tags left in memory. In plain
English, this means you can load TSR ( also known as "pop-up" and
"memory-resident" ) software and them UNLOAD it without having to reboot your
computer.
HOW TO USE IT:
This description of how FLUSH works is very brief because FLUSH is very
simple to use and I know how much we all hate VERBOSE shareware
documentation.
Before installing a memory resident program, place a tag in memory by
invoking "FLUSH +" at the DOS prompt. Install your TSR programs ( separate
them with tags if you wish).
When you want to remove the TSRs installed after a tag, run "FLUSH -" from
DOS. The TSRs and the tag(s) are removed and the Interrupt Vector Table is
restored.
List tags installed by invoking "FLUSH" with no command line parameters.
Syntax: FLUSH [/][? h][+ -][label] [!]
^ Space mandatory
FLUSH ? <Enter> Displays this help screen.
FLUSH <Enter> Displays tags in memory & memory free.
FLUSH + <Enter> Installs a generic tag.
FLUSH + TagName <Enter> Installs the tag "TagName".
MAXIMUM OF 8 CHARACTERS IN LABEL.
FLUSH - <Enter> Removes the last tag & TSRs installed after it.
FLUSH - TagName <Enter> Removes the tag named "TagName" & all tags & TSRs
installed after it.
The [!] option turns off the copyright notice..... useful in BAT files.
COMPATIBILITY:
FLUSH v.6.1 has been tested successfully with DR DOS 6.0 and MS DOS 5.0,
